Field recording of the vakö myr swamp near älmhult in sweden, uncontaminated by any human or traffic noise. It is a windy and cloudy summer day, the wind is stirring the trees quite a bit, insects and birds cam be heard in the foreground. Recorded with a zoom h2n. These are the front channels of a 4ch surround recording. Mics set to 90° dispersion.

Springtime thunderstorm recorded using a shotgun mic pointing out of a window. Mono recording but with a bit of stereo artificial reverb added. This longer recording features some distant sounds heard within a housing estate - distant chatter, cars, children. Recorded during the covid-19 lockdown.

Now this sfx is my pride and joy. I acted quickly to get materials to work together to make this sound. I pulled a rope through the belt-eyes of some short pants, which would be the ropes releasing from the bag. Then i fluttered the pants to sound asif wind and the parachute material was colliding, making the sound so much more convincing.

Stereo recording at oyster cove, known in the tasmanian aboriginal language as putalina, tasmania. Lots of different kinds of bird, definitely wattlebirds, ducks, forrest ravens, masked plovers. Flies. Occasional light wind. Some passing cars ruin the atmosphere, and a highway is a bit too close. Two nt1-a microphones, steinberg c1 usb pre amp, recorded on phone.

Just waves at the beach. Nightrecording with almost no other noise (no birds, people, cars; some low frequency wind noise); 48/24-stereorecording with zoom h1, normalized. I´ve just uploaded a new file without low frequency wind noise.

This is the variable mid/high pitch sound of a metal door not properly closed in my college, making a whistling sound. There are very light sounds of people passing and chatting by the door. I used this sound in a group project as part of a night wind sound in a dark forest. It is looping. Recorded with a tascam dr-40.

Uk birmingham canal between icc and aston, large factory with very powerful extractor fan exhaust from roof running in foreground. Air flow noise superimposed on fan motor drone with some phasing. H2 zoom front mic with wind shield, hand held, some wind noise, worse towards end, missed the foreground fan switch off.

Recording of a thunderstorm in a narrow backyard between houses, berlin 20. 6. 2013. The wind and rain is whipping the plastic coverings of a construction site at one house, some things fall down from the scaffold. The rain becomes more and more heavy and loud, the raindrops beat down on the leaves of a chestnut tree and the plastic sheets. Recorded out of the top window of the ground floor with a roland r-05 mounted on a tripod.

This is a recording of me, walking on the sidewalk of a road during heavy rain and wind. The cars passing me is driving through the water. I am using a røde blimp with deadcat in my hand, containing a sennheiser mkh 416 and a ambient ate 308 emesser in a ms-stereo setup. The recorder that i use is a zoom f6, but the ms-stereo decoding is done in pro tools in post. 32bit float 48khz.
